Duh

So me and Morris had our whole weekend planned out perfectly, Including Monday night when we had to go and pick up her friends from the Orlando International Sanford Airport! Little did we know what the trip had in store for us! First of all BMo's radio in her car would not work so we decided to take my Mustang. We did want to drive all the way to Orlando with no radio. We borrowed a friends GPS Navigation system so we could type in the address and have clear directions. The GPS showed no Airport called Orlando International Sanford. So at that point we had no idea what to do. Noone of our friends had heard of it either and the girls were already on the plane so we could not contact them. In the midst of trying to figure all this out we had already started to drive and were by the Florida State Fairgrounds when it started to down pour to the point where we could barely see the car in front of us! So we had no idea where we were going and were in a thunderstorm with fierce lightning too. (And if anybody has ever had a Mustang you know their the scariest cars to drive in the rain due to rear wheel drive making it very easy to hydroplane.) So at the nearest exit we got off to wait for the rain to let up. So we were sitting in a BP parking lot trying to find out if this Sanford airport existed and where the heck it was! BMo being the smarty pants she is, tells me to check for the address on my phone because I have Internet. Duh why didn't I think of that! So I checked and found a phone number..Thank God! BMo called this number and a lady helped us tremendously giving us the girls flight number and the address. And this is the best part...BMo and I had assumed the whole time that because it was called Orlando Sanford it was in Orlando. WRONG! It was in Sanford! Making our trip two and half hours instead of an hour and a half! Thank god I have a blackberry with a map app because i typed the address in and it gave us play by play directions! We eventually made our way to this Orlando Sanford airport and got the girls! We hopped back on I4 and arrived home about two hours later. Needless to say we did'nt get home until about 3:30 AM. I guess this will always be something we can look back at laugh at though. Right BMo? =)
