My Superbowl Weekend

My body is so thankful that Superbowl is over...

What a whirlwind! My body is so happy that Superbowl weekend is over. The weekend started with a night of partying at the NFL Association party at A la Carte Pavillion. First of all, it was like Fort Knox trying to get in. There were metal detectors everywhere you had to walk through and then there were TV camera crews everywhere, I felt like somewhat of a celebrity :). I walk in there and I don't know if you've ever seen Blue Crush, but I felt exactly like Kate Bosworth. The place was filled with current and former NFL players and their wives. Don't get me wrong, we looked GOOD, but I felt like we were the nobody's. lol. But, that didn't bother us, because we spent the entire evening talking to just about everyone! We ended up getting a few numbers and were invited to the taste of the NFL the next day. After A la Carte, we made our way to the Kennedy last night where I met someone who said he would get us into VIP at Diddy's party the next night at Venue. We were so excited!!!! Well, the next day we went to the taste of the NFL and again, felt like celebrities. We walked around with VIP passes around our necks and met and took pictures with NFL players again. That night, we met up with the guys who were going to get us into Diddy's party and made our way to Venue. We pull up and it's mayhem trying to get in. Cars everywhere, hundreds of dollars to valet, tons of camera crews, etc.... So, we decide to park ourselves down the block. When we get to the front, we get there right before Diddy is about to arrive, so we are able to see his "grand entrance". Ok, I get that he's a celebrity, but sometimes I can't stand the way they act like the whole world revolves around them. Well, we get in and the place is PACKED. I mean, like sardines. Again, celebrities everywhere. I'm at the bar and this guy comes up and asks if he can buy me a drink. Uh, yes!!!! haha. Come to find out, he plays for the Cowboys and end up hanging out with him all night. Then, then next day, we went out with him as well after the Superbowl. I don't know how we do it, i guess we're just in the right place at the right time... ;) Michelle
